We provide our annual Donors with many things. As insiders, we are aware of many things. What we would really like to know is what you see.
- Do you see the many opportunities offered by Clan MacDougall Society of North America (CMSNA)?
- Do you receive (and read) your monthly E-Newsletters as an annual contributor of CMSNA?
- Do you do genealogy and get the assistance you hoped for or need to continue your journey?
- Do you attend any of the Games in your area?
- Do you reach out when you need something?
- What are we missing that YOU need?
These are all things we wonder about but don’t always have the opportunity to directly ask you-our donors, contributors, “members,” and future “members.” As a nonprofit organization, our mission is to preserve, present, and collect information pertaining to our heritage, history, traditions, and culture of Clan MacDougall and Clan MacDowall.
How do we accomplish our mission?
We host clan tents at local festivals and highland games. This is where we present books, t-shirts, donor information, scholarship opportunities, and more to YOU. The clan tents are where we get the opportunity to meet YOU face to face, in person as well as where we get to meet future active members, future volunteers, future friends, kith and kin. People matter. Heritage is a part of us. History is ever interesting and inviting. Clan MacDougall Society of North America is here to help you learn as much as you want with regards to Clan MacDougall and Clan MacDowall with the assistance of Chief Morag MacDougall of Clan MacDougall and Dunollie and with the assistance of Chief Fergus MacDowall of Clan MacDowall. We encourage you to visit Scotland and see the living history that is there still today, like Dunollie Museum, Castle, and Grounds, Gylen Castle on the Isle of Kerrera, Dunstafnage Castle, The Kirkyard of Kilbride, and Lismore.
